FaceAzure Online requires you to create a tax item and connect it with the QuickBooks Online chart of account that maps to the tax item to display the tax amount in the correct format in each form of FaceAzure Online.
- Go to Settings and choose Tax Items.
- Click Add New
- Item name – input your tax item name, for example, VAT Sales 10%
- Tax Preference: click tree a gray button with three dots, choose Value Added Tax, then select Local Standard Taxable Sales.
- QuickBooks Mapping – Entity name, click the gray button with three dot, choose account, then select a chart of accounts from the list, which is mapping with tax item for tracking tax payable.
- Click Save & Close
Notes:
For all types of taxes, please add FaceAzure Online and map to the correct chart of accounts of QuickBooks Online; follow the same steps above. Otherwise, the tax amount will not display in the incorrect format in FaceAzure Online forms, and this configuration is required to be set up for monthly tax preparation.
